<p>Nearly five months later, hotels, restaurants, shops and attractions are preparing to re-open and are in need of a heavy tourism season. Homeowners, however, have their reservations about what conflicting messages the public may be receiving.</p>

<p>Seaside Park resident Faith Ligouri said, “I don’t want to discourage people from coming and visiting, it’s important to our businesses and our economy but <b>I would beg the world, honestly, to understand that we are not whole</b>. And we will not be whole for years to come because we all have to face.”</p>

As we near six months since Superstorm Sandy ransacked the Jersey Coast, our news team ventured to the Jersey Shore to see what progress has been made in rebuilding. What we found was that devastation remains rampant.
