Our broadcasters have been seen giving weather information on a number of television stations and networks, from major news networks to ESPN. Tumblr is just another extension of our social media team’s efforts to reach our audience in a way that works best for them.

This week looks pretty dry for the West Coast, but there is the potential for more showers before month’s end and into May and even June this year.

As for the most damaging California tornado, it’s hard to say, but it might be the March 1, 1983 EF-2 tornado that caused millions of dollars of damage when it touched down in Los Angeles County. It injured 30 people.

An explanation for the large temperature swings is that they are typical of spring. For instance, the normal high temperature for this time of year is 64 degrees in Wilmington, Del., while the typical low is 43 degrees. This week will be mild, but it will still cool off quite a bit at night.
